Why does GATO make match gloves and training gloves?
A goalkeeper needs two things from gloves: the best possible grip when it matters most, and durability for daily training. No single latex is the best at both. That is why every GATO glove model comes in two versions: a match glove and a training glove. The cut and the fit are the same, and both have a 4 mm German latex palm. The difference is the type of latex: GATO Match Latex in the match glove, more durable GATO Training Latex in the training glove.
