Goalkeeper Glove Washing Guide
Keep your gloves clean to maintain grip, extend their lifespan and get the best performance on the pitch.
1.Before first use
Wash new gloves before using them for the first time.
Rinse them with lukewarm water and gently squeeze the water through the gloves. This helps remove production residues and prepares the latex for use.
2.How to wash your gloves
Wash goalkeeper gloves by hand using lukewarm water.
Rinse off loose dirt and gently massage the latex with your fingers or thumbs.
For a deeper clean, use a small amount of goalkeeper glove wash.
Rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear.
Do not:
- use a washing machine
- scrub the latex with a brush
- use hot water
- twist or aggressively wring the gloves
3.How to dry your gloves
Gently squeeze out excess water and press the gloves in a clean towel.
Leave them to air dry naturally.
Do not dry goalkeeper gloves:
- on a radiator
- with a hair dryer
- in a tumble dryer
- in direct sunlight
Heat and direct sunlight can dry out and damage the latex.
4.How often to wash
Rinse or wash your gloves after every use, especially after playing on artificial grass or in dirty conditions.
A deeper clean is recommended whenever dirt starts building up on the latex.
5.How to store your gloves
Let the gloves dry properly before storing them.
Keep them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Do not store wet gloves in a closed bag for long periods.
Avoid pressing tacky latex palms tightly against each other during storage.
